Several recordings have now emerged showing invitations from Blizzard for the aforementioned alpha phase as well as for the upcoming closed beta phase. Specifically, we experience the following things:
- In the course of the alpha, players could create fresh level 58 characters for Outland and test level 1 blood elves and draenei.
- The closed beta phase of TBC Classic should start this month. WoW fans with “Friends & Family” status can also take part in this test phase. It is unclear whether there will be first invitations for “normal” WoW
- Registrations for the “Friends & Family” status should take place by March 15th. Some players are speculating that the alpha will run until this date and that the closed beta will start between March 16 and March 30.
If you haven’t signed up for the Burning Crusade Classic beta yet, you can do so as follows: First visit the Blizzard official website for the WoW Classic section. Make sure that you are logged into the website with your Battle.net account (top right). Scroll down so far that you come to the section “Become a beta tester” (directly after the “Media”). Click on “Register” and wait for confirmation.
Note that Blizzard will not send out any keys for beta access. If you get beta access, the corresponding version of Burning Crusade Classic will appear in your launcher for download.
If you need extra WoW Gold, remember you can buy it in GoldPiles.
